Any J1 Participant arriving in the US through ACAWE must be insured according to the guidelines of the US Department of State. In the event that your insurance ends while you are still in the USA on a J1 visa you MUST extend your insurance BEFORE your insurance expires. Failure to do so may result in your visa being canceled.

We provide our participants with the best available insurance coverage, which exceeds the minimum requirements of the US Department of State.
